From Mustang II to Fox Platform

The "Fox body" Mustang refers to the third-generation Ford Mustang produced from 1979 to 1993. Built on Ford's Fox platform, it was a radical departure from the previous Mustang II, featuring a longer wheelbase and a sleek, aerodynamic design.
